The beauty of the flip is it's easy of use. It has a USB plug built in, you plug it into your computer, download & burn!

Am SO hoping this arrives by Friday. A couple of weeks ago I ordered shoes from them at 8PM on Friday, and they were at my house Monday!!!! Our daughter is dancing in our holiday parade next Saturday but we have class, so my mom needs this to do the video!!! SO COOL!
(ordered one for my school as well...I am a media specialist--er, librarian)

PS FYI 6 pm doesn't do returns...not sure how this works if you get a lemon on electronics...

They don't do exchanges, but they do returns. From their website:

1. Q:How do I return my order?
   A:If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have 30 days from the purchase date to return it. All merchandise must be unworn and in the same condition it was received. Can you guys help me make a decision on snapping one of these up?

My DD7 (will be 8 in about a month or so) asked for a digital camera for Christmas. She loves to grab a hold of mine but *mostly* so she can use the video portion of the camera and record videos she creates (she usually makes films of her dolls "talking" or herself dancing and singing.) But she also likes to take pics every now and then. Do I keep to buying her a digital camera w/ an option to video on it? Or go with a Flip?

The reason I like the Flip is because it seems like it would be super easy for her to use to make her videos. I read something about it having the ability to plug into a TV which I think she'd find fun. I've yet to figure out how to condense the videos she takes from my camera and email them (the files are super large, it seems!) And her Dad lives out of state so she could make him videos and 1,2,3 send them off. But then she loses the camera portion to take snap shots.

Hmm...So, what would you guys do?
