Flip flops?

I wore Nike flip flops all day everyday . I had no problems at all. I brought along crocs and tennis shoes and never wore them.
My son got blisters after the first day wearing crocs! I would go with what you wear and like the most! ( I vote flip flops! )

I'd recommend bring a number of different shoe options. I've found that just because you wear something consistently at home, that it will stand up to seven or 8 miles of walking per day. One year, I brought my regular workout shoes, which I considered to be very well broken in. I got a blister the first day, and had to switch to my Nike flip flops and old, crummy tennis shoes. I was so glad I had brought other shoe options.

We went in August...and I didn't even bring any tennis shoes. All I wore was flip flops. My favs are teva...so comfortable! If you're used to it..you'll be fine!

Woohoo! I'm the same way but everything I read is sneakers sneaker sneakers. We are going to Epcot for our first lark, so I think that will be a good test :-)

I hate sneakers and I don't wear them! I always tour the parks in my volatile sandals, this trip I'm going to try my new pair of go walks by sketchers, closest think to a sneaker I will put my foot in! They are very comfy and have had good reviews! I know they are flying off the shelf where I got my pair, I went back to get another color and they were empty!

Just returned from the parks and I took a pedometer with me to see how much walking I'd actually do. Well, we have a 4 year old and were not touring commando, but still logged over 10 miles per day 4 of our 5 full days in the parks. Totally up to you whether you can handle that much walking in flip-flops, just some info to aid in your decision.

Another vote for Reefs...another good thing about wearing flip flops is that when it rains you're not spending the rest of the day in wet soggy sneakers.

I have some well-worn Reef flip flops that I've had for about 2 years. I wear them nearly every day in the summer. Do you think I culd I wear them during a park visit at least part of the time? We leave in 7 days :-)
If you really were the smartest blonde you would never wear flip flops. They don't have arch support. I wore shoes without arch support for many years and it ruined my back and my knees. I was forced into an early retirement because of it.

That's why I wear Orthaheels flip-flops. They have a huge arch support and a cupped heel to prevent pronation. They are totally amazing!

Thanks sir, but I think I will take my chances. And even being the smartest blonde doesn't necessarily mean much ;-)

Not all flip flops have no arch support. I have high arches and Teva Mush (original) offer me great support. Everyone's body is different, and not all flip flops are created equal.

I'm a flip flop guy all summer long since college. In 2008
When I was 32 I wore tennis shoes to Disney then decided to wear flip flops to seaworld. It was awful. By 4 o'clock I was dying. Didn't think that would happen to me.

I love my Nike Celso's and never had an issue wearing ghem all day in the parks. Then again - I have wide, very flat feet.......

I've never worn sneakers in the parks! I switch off between teva mush for flip flops and teva hurricanes or zilches for strap sandals.

Usually I wear the strap sandals on any day I'm going on a ride I wouldn't want to lose my shoes on :) like Soarin', I don't like putting my shoes under the seat!

2nd the Nike Celso flip flop. I alternated between my New Balance "toning" sneakers and Nike Celso's and didn't have any problems with my feet on our trip last August.

I've worn my Teva Mush flip flops for 4 trips at least and my feet never get tired. I used to wear tennis shoes and had sore feet every day from park touring.

I have worn flip flops every time and been fine. This time I'm bringing my Puma slip-ons just incase, but more for if it's cooler in the evenings than for avoiding blisters

I haven't read the other responses, but I will only wear flip flops to the parks - even in winter. I've tried wearing my really good sneakers, and my feet are more sore at the end of the day than in a good pair of flip flops.

I swear by my yellow boxes. They are awesome. For the past several trips I have worn those every day for all 7 days of our trip - and we hit a park every day from rope drop to closing. Never a blister and my feet are fine at the end of every day.

This past December my 8 year old asked if she could please wear her yellow box flip flops instead of sneakers. Not one complaint out of her in a week either.

The only issue with flip flops that I can think of, and its minor, is that they ask you to take them off when you go on Soarin.........

I always wear flip flops in the park - and usually reefs! Very comfortable!
