flip flops on the coasters?

Can you wear flip flops on the coasters? Do they make you store them in a locker? Dueling Dragons looks like they might fall off your feet, anyone had this problem? What shoes/sandals do you wear to US/IOA?

They had me kick mine off on DD and when we got back one of the guys slid them back on for me. I noticed lots of people leaving theirs at the platform for DD. As for other coasters, I can't remember taking them off.

That's what they made my DD do. Used to be they let you slide the seatbelt through them--not any more.

Yep, either sit on them or leave them at the inside of the gate and collect them when you get off.
Dr Doom just leave them when you are getting your seat, and slip them on again when you get off

On DD...you will probably be told to remove your shoes and sit on them. I've seen many people sit on their flip flops w/o incident. Since the trains do not load and unload in the same spot, you can not leave anything in the loading area. I usually wear my Nikes...I don't do Crocs or the like.

Dw always wears flip flops and she just takes them of and sits on them but as far as sitting on Crocs don't know how you could do that and I wear a ballcap all the time and have to take it off and sit on it

You have to have your shoes with you at all times. At Dragons, if you toss your shoes on the ground, the TM will pick them up and give them back to you. This is because you get off in a separate area from when you get on, and there can't be guests running all over the platform getting their shoes back.

I used to take mine off and sit on them until one day I forgot to take them off. Nothing happened so I've been riding with them on ever since.
