Flinstones for MNSSHP????

Hello everyone! I have been agonizing over what costumes to wear to MNSSHP. I wanted to do a family theme. It will be me, DH, DD9 and DS6. I was thinking of doing the Flinstones....Fred, Wilma, Betty and Barney. I thought it would be cute and the costumes wouldn't be too hot. Question is...I know that the Flinstones are characters at Universal Studios. Do you think we'll get to much "ribbing" from CMs. Will we be Disney outcasts? LOL! Thanks!

This is exactly what I was picturing when you mentioned the Flinstone theme for your family! I think Fred, Wilma, Pebbles and Bam Bam would be real cute! Have Fun!!

There are many people at MNSSHP dressed on non-Disney charaters. Go for it. But, yeah, you might get some good natured ribbing.

Don't worry about the costumes. You all will be fine. You will have to show us the picture of your family in costume when you get back. I do like the Pebbles and Bam Bam better though. Have a great time!!

Thanks for the input! I wanted to do Pebbles and Bam Bam too, but cannot find costumes in the right size. They are either toddler or adult sizes. Nothing in between. That would have been perfect.

You'll probably get some ribbing, but I'm sure it will all be in fun. DH and I made the mistake of wearing Mickey shirts when we went to Universal (I never even thought about it, we just took a ton of Disney shirts with us so we just grabed a couple shirts and went) last time and had quite a few comments about our being in the wrong place .

We just got back and we were the flinstones and the rubbles 4adts and 5kids. We have 2 bam bams, 2 pebble and one teenage pebble...It was so fun at MNSSHP sept 22....have fun

Last year my girlfriend and I went as Wilma and Betty.This year we decided to go with our DHs, Fred and Barney. Everyone commented on our costumes. We also saw another family with children dressed as the Flintstones and Rubbles too. They were cute. We even ran into Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma.

So go for it, you will have lots of fun. We did!
