I’ve noticed direct flights to coruscant have spiked a bit.

May increase, may decrease, may stay the same. People travel everywhere fora side variety of reasons, not just tourism. It might be different if the airport were at Walt Disney World and Disney owned the one airline everybody visiting was forced to take.

Airfares fluctuate constantly.
