Flights

Add me to the list of people flying VAustralia Premium Economy in September.
We fly to LA on 17 September.

We're really looking forward to it. It's a real splurge for us. We've only ever flown economy before. The last few trips we flew United all the way to Orlando via San Francisco. I have no complaints about United, the service was fine and best of all we got a really good deal on prices. We just wanted to try something completely different this time.

I prefer flying all the way through to Orlando. We've tried overnighting at LAX and catching a flight to Orlando the next morning but we definitely cope better going all the way in one go.

sorry mate,
didnt recognise the "name".....and after 3 weeks now of school hols my brain is a saucer of grey mush....too many hours on the net, not enough time asleep:rotfl2:oh well, back to school/work tomorrow:teacher:, and yes a cocktail by the pool sounds like a plan.....only 59 sleeps to go

Considering that the rest if the "premium economy club" will be having a cocktail together on their cruise - I will have a drink to you on the night of the 25th from my seat at the Hoop De Doo Review - unlimited sangria!!! :worship:

the v aust premium club sounds good.....now dont forget to sign up for their velocity frequent flyer program [not the credit card]..because after our rtn trip to LAX we are silver members giving access to lounge etc for the next year plus other little perks.
cant wait to hear the horn at 5pm sept 25, I will be in my togs, sitting in the pool, polishing off my second cocktail & forming a meaningful relationship with the "aussie" barman by the pool.......

tip: always try to find an aussie barman [who normally work the pool bar],
1.they understand our accent
2.they are generous in the amount of nip they put in &
3.you never find an ugly aussie barman:rotfl:

roll on september, i'm sick of this cold weather:dance3:

Hoop De Doo is one of those things I am yet to do at WDW but it's definitely on my bucket list. Enjoy the sangria! I'll think of you as I'm sipping something tropical on our way to Mexico:boat:

hey there,

Personally I would rather just bite the bullet and keep going for the 30+ hours and just get there, but my DH is a horrible/terrified flyer and needs that 18hrs down time to rest, regroup and recoup. So this is the 3rd time we are doing it this way with him, as it works out well for us. A good sleep/feed is all he needs to get his nerves settled.
I also have booked us on first class for the LAX-orlando sectors, as being in the front seems to dull the pain somewhat:rolleyes1..oh the things I do for love:rotfl2:

I did the trip 3 times previously with just my boys and we kicked it straight thru...as teens they can deal with anything, just feed them every hour and let them watch dvds and they'd fly to the moon.:cool2:

Well that makes a whole lot of difference. Good on your DH for persevering and continuing to travel and not letting his fears stop him. Whatever you need to do to combat his nerves is well worth it I think.
