Flights - online checkin?

Can someone explain to me the benefits of online checkin for our Jetblue flights from Syracuse to MCO? If I do online checkin, what do I do when I get to the airport? We're driving to Syracuse from Canada so we will clear customs at the border.

If you do online check in, you can then print your boarding passes at home. If you aren't checking luggage, you can go directly to security when you arrive at the airport. If you are checking bags, you can do curbside check-in at Syracuse and then go to security (costs $2.00 per bag). Or you can go inside to the ticket area and check your bags there. More info here:
