flight Toronto to Vancouver

Generally speaking midweek is cheaper than weekends (about $20).

I started stalking Air Canada prices about a year ago for our August DCL cruise. From Toronto, the base price ONE-WAY was in the $350 dollar range. (From home connecting in Toronto started at just over $500.) Westjet's prices were in the same range for YYZ-YVR.

We finally booked with AC about a month ago - got ONE-WAY base prices of $185 YYZ-YVR and YVR-YYZ. (Then there's the taxes and fees, and the seat selection charge etc.) We are flying out early morning on a Saturday (7AM) and flying back midafternoon (3PM) on a Tuesday.

I've gone back to check the flights a few times and they are hovering at a base of about $210 each way at the moment. WestJet's prices were a bit higher last time I checked.

I've been watching prices for Ottawa to Vancouver for the past 6 months and concur that AC has consistently had the best prices - both as regular fare and seat sales. Recently got weekend tickets for $199pp each way (before taxes - about $550 all in return) for this summer. Haven't seen Westjet with prices that low.
