Hi All! What is your advice. If I am early seating, can I make an 11:00 am flight? We are a party of 4, including a 2 and 3 year old. Thanks for your opinions!

You may be cutting it too close for comfort. If you are off the ship without any customs issues, transportation issues, luggage issues, ect. you may make to MCO by 9-9:30...the ride is about an hour to get there. However, remember one thing....you are getting to MCO with fellow cruisers, and other cruisers from other ships in port and also theme parks that are leaving also. Security checks back up enormously at this time. Give yourself more time especially traveling with children. My 2:35 flight started boarding at 1:50...we started through security at 12:20 and didn't get through until 1:00.

Our return flight leave at 12:45. When I gave DVC our flight info. for our transfers, she said "WOW, those are great times!" but that was before the level orange! We have late seating and will most likely just skip breakfast and get off with the first seating.

Normally disembarkation is fast and simple...we've done an 11 a.m. flight with no problem. But while we were onboard the Wonder last time, the level was raised to Orange, and it took us almost an hour to disembark! We were in the line from Hades just to get off the ship...it stretched all the way through the atrium and down to the Promenade Lounge. Then, once you got off, you had to wait a LONG time in a little holding area. We had Happy Limo picking us up, and I wanted to call them to let them know about the delay, but once you step off the ship you can't use your cell phone. Thank goodness the driver waited for us :D They made everyone show their drivers license and another form of ID, and no one but us seemed to have their IDs ready, which made the delay even worse. Maybe it won't be so bad once people get used to the higher level of alert. The airport lines weren't bad...it was just disembarkation.
Of course, we fly ATA...the Southwest check-in line at MCO was UNBELIEVEABLE!!!
