flight times for return

What is the safest time to book a return flight? The ship gets in a 8am, but how long should I account for disembarking, retrieving the car from parking, stopping for food, drive to MCO, etc? Thanks for any help.

IMHO, i would not book any return flights prior to noon. Disembarkment is not always as soon as the ship is docked, it happens when customs has cleared the ship. Since airlines charge you a fee now for stand by flights, i would go with nothing earlier than noon.

DCL recommends 12:30, I guess just to be on the safe side, especially with all of the security measures at the airport. prymsu is right that the ship isn't allowed to disembark until Immigration says so.

Plus you never know if there could be an accident on the highway that would deley your getting to the airport etc.. We never book before noon.
