I normally fly Airtran but for our DCL Alaska cruise in August,we are flying Delta to get to Seattle/Vancouver. Yesterday, I noticed our flight from MSP to SEA had changed. The note was that we could change to a different flight if we wanted to because the change in departure or arrival was more than one hour. I know we talk alot about Airtran and being able to change flights for a change of just a few minutes in the schedule. Just wanted to note that Delta let us change to an earlier flight after the change that would have gotten us there about 75 minutes later.
It wasn't as easy to do as with Airtran though. I was able to change my ticket (booked with miles) online. I had to call for help though when trying to change my husband's ticket. It kept showing that I needed to pay $150 change fee and additional cost for the flight for a total of almost $500. I called the tech support and they were able to override the problem and get us booked on the same earlier flight.
