Flight prices for Feb. 2012

Hi,
Based on all your experiences here, do you think there will be a price drop for flights for Presidents week next year? They are up around $500 from DTW,

Nope. High travel time, Much of the NE is on school break.

I think they will stay that high unless the airline can't sell the seats which is unlikely over President's Day weekend. We bought ours mid August for about $300 each round trip.

Nope. I've had a Kayak alert since August (we're supposed to be flying to Reno that week) and prices for our flights have actually gone *up* about $10. ($467 RT - never paid more than $380ish for this trip before, even for Pres week!)

Never say never but I would not depend on it. last year our price for Jet Blue did drop. We were able to get a $400 credit on 5 round trips.
