It's me again. Need to talk to some fine, intelligent and smart people, I mean dis'ers.

At the moment flights are my headache. Depending on flights I shall make my DLP booking.

At the moment I have 3 options.

I'd love to go to CDG: it's closer to CDG, cheaper transportation and flight times are good. But I'd have to fly from Riga and that's 250km drive to another country. manageable, been to Riga before. The price is 623 Eur.:scared1:

second CDG option (got from TA) is Lufthansa connecting flight in Frankfurt. The TA lady said it's more wisely to choose Lufthansa over Airbaltic even if it's connecting flight. Flight and wait times are reasonable and it's just 100km drive to airport. Price is less: 599Eur (but they have food and drinks included). As TA lady said "it's a normal flight company". Tempting.

Now I have third money saving - budget tempting option to the far away Beauvais. Flight times are bad, landing 22.30 :scared1: transportation price is 175Eur. But the tickets would cost 369Eur :scared1:

so I have Airbaltic flight - 721Eur, Lufthansa flight 697eur and Ryanair flight 544Eur.

What would you choose? Thank you all for help.

I'd go with Luthansa as if something went wrong the fact that they are a regular company means that are more options than a low cost one.

Frankfurt to Paris is more or less a shuttle route, they have flights every 90 minutes so if you were delayed from where you are coming from they could put you on the next one

I'd also do it as 100 km drive is better than a 250 km one in both cases (going and coming back)

The price difference between Air Baltic and Luthansa is so small that I wouldn't hesitate.

I wouldn't go into BVA as it's too far after to transfer and you aren't going to be at your hotel before maybe 00.30 at the earliest. It's a very long day

Which airport is nearest to you as there might be other possibilites ?

I got 3. The nearest is in my city, but only cheap flights. The other one is 100km drive, 45mins-1 hour and we're there, so no problem. And then there's Riga around 250km away.

Ok I'd be still going with Lufthansa as you are doing it along with the 2 boys.

It's cheaper than AB and closer to you

I wouldn't look at Ryanair

Don't SAS or Finnair have flights too from where you are even if you have to change once ?

have to take a look, but they just pop out those cheap airlines at first...
