Flight of Passage Seats Question

Hi,

Could anyone who rode this before please tell me exactly how close the seats are next to each other?
I don't suffer from motion sickness, but I do have a fear of other people getting sick near/on me, which keeps me away from certain extreme rides that have me seated with a stranger. I understand everyone gets their own "banshee" and you are restrained in for the length of the ride. I guess my question then is how close are these vehicles placed to each other. Do you remember thinking you could reach over and actually be able to touch the person next to you?

Thanks!

The seats are close enough you could reach over and touch the person next to you - although I've never noticed or paid attention to anyone next to me during the ride itself. Didn't feel like everyone was one top of each other.

You could definitely touch the person next to you.

Now - unless a person decides to projectile vomit on you by turning your way - I think it's incredibly unlikely that someone will get sick ON YOU. They aren't that close together!

Also - I do get motion sick - and I found this ride very easy to control my "level of nausea" by closing my eyes part of the time. With its music, wind, breathing banshee, scenery immersion, it was very easy to anticipate the big, fast sweeping moments that tend to upset my stomach on rides like this. Much easier than Soarin, for example. There isn't that much talk of this one making people sick - and I can totally see why now that I have ridden it.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'm going to give it a try, though I will ask if I could be placed at the end.

My son has a legit fear of sitting next to strangers (in general) and they were great about letting him sit in the end. I also remember wishing my daughter was closer so I could reach her if she got nervous so I think you will do great!

They are relatively close together but once you are on it you don't even pay attention to whose next to you. It is so immersive he won't even be interacting with anyone around him! But ask for an end if it's more comfortable for him! Definitely not worth missing out on!

At first I thought there was a decent space between us, but then that woman in the end seat got puked all over by the guy beside her, so....

Is this something where you can ask to be seated at the end seat, like Soarin?

When you line up in the first pre-show room, you are assigned numbers to stand on. Depending on what section you are in, some numbers mean front and center and are highly valued. Be prepared for people to fuss a bit about being moved from a premium spot. You may have to wait until the next cycle to get the seating you want. That said, the earlier you let the CM know where you want to sit, the easier it is to get that spot.
