Flight of Passage late at night

We were at AK on Tuesday. Crowds were decent but we don't have a FOP fastpass so we decided to go just before close. Lighting earlier in the day brought down Everest and Kali which drained all of the remaining fastpass after 4pm. By 7:30 we decided to just wait for FOP and the line said 183 minutes. Apparently one screen was down due to a kids protein spill and a couple huge groups got in line. We ended up in line for 2 hours.

The ride was unbelievable and worth the wait. Avatar at night was ok but didn't blow my mind. Maybe I was just got and tired. It was a great day at AK.

Glad you had fun. We got there with 90 minutes before closing the App time said 120 min but it was all working the day we were there and got thru in about 45 min. But to be honest the stuff we saw in the Stand By queue was worth the wait also.

I really want to do the standby queue, and see all the cool stuff. So far I have only done the FP route.

No problem. After riding using your fastpass, go back around and get in the standby queue. After you have made it through and seen all of the cool stuff, take the chicken exit .

The ride is indoors so it doesn't matter. You should try to walk through Pandora twice, once during the day and once after dark.

Definitely get whatever time you can! My FastPass day was today and I was on at 7am and still couldn't get it. We are hoping to do stand-by. Good to know that we can go towards the end of the night....

Why would you go out the chicken exit after going through the stand by queue? Ride again!
