Flight of Passage in a walking boot

Unfortunately, I will be in walking boot for my trip in October. Has anyone fit on FOP in a short walking boot? Here it is for reference:

FOP is my favorite ride and I have fit with plenty of space in the past. I'm not sure if my doctor will allow me to remove it, so I'm hoping a short boot won't cause problems.

not sure if it will fit, but maybe ask if you can go in the line where you don't have to go down flights of stairs to get out (if they don't automatically put you there)

I have to tell you, I wear a women's size 9 shoe and my foot is normally completely jammed up against the ride chair when the leg restraint is in place. I'm pretty sure the restraint won't be able to "click" (i.e. lock into position) with that boot on.

Perhaps your doc would be OK with having you sit down on the ride seat to hand it to a companion to put away, then give it back to you to put it back on before you get up? It would slow the load a little bit, but I'm sure they are probably used to that already with folks transferring from wheelchairs.

Good suggestion - I'll definitely check with him. Hopefully that won't be a problem but it is an Achilles tear, so I don't know.

I wear men's size 13 and had no issues with space on the ride. The boot is about the same length as my shoes, so maybe I'll be ok.

It could be an issue of it clamping around the calf with it on.

Before doing all the wait be sure to try the test ride vehicle at the beginning of the queue.

It's my favorite too! I was in a full boot last October and rode it several times.

I rode it in a boot that year. It was hard but doable to get in.

My daughter's friend joined us last week with a walking boot and knee scooter -because of the knee scooter we were always sent to the lowest level. Her walking boot fit into the ride vehicle no problem, but it is a shorter boot than the one pictured above.

Yep, it can be done in the walking boot. I did it three times last week. Just sit and slide am the way forward. I was comfortable in it with the restraints engaged.
