Flight - magic paint book for toddler

Hi.

Trying to decide if taking a Magic Paint book on flight is a really bad idea?..

You know the ones you just add water and the picture changes colour. Was doing one yesterday with son and kept his attention so thinking could use on plane. (not many things hold his attention for long) I'm sure I can take on a small paintbrush through security and you only need a small cup of water. Downside would be it drying somewhere.

Am I mad?

we took one of them and a mini aqua draw mat and pen...then used the aqua draw pen on the book too, much less mess and pratically dry straight away, and the mats can be reused.

Just to be on the safe side, I would suggest not to fill the aqua pen before being on the plane, in case you need to go through TSA or other security ... seems they go paranoid these days ... even confiscated a cupcake lately because the icing was "gel-like", so you never know ...

No man takes a cupcake from me. I'd scoff it on the spot!

I forgot about Aqua Mats I think I have some of those that when you use the water pen picture appears. Haven't played with them in ages now where in the world did I put them..

We've taken the aquadraw mats on a number of flights and Just filled them up from a bottle of water we bought airside .
