I can understand your nervousness with flying, I also used to be really bothered by it. I have however worked through it but Turbulance still bothers me .
Just remember that flying is the safest mode of transport, safer than walking, driving, train rides, taxi's and buses.
Flying at night is really no difference to flying during daylight to your pilots. There is usually less turbulence at night due to the heat having died down. Remember also that turbulence is a comfort issue not a safety issue.
For your travel sickness I have found that Stugeron works really well, also nibble on ginger biscuits or chew crystallised ginger.
For the nervousness buy a Rescue remedy spray and use it as necessary.
Most fearful flyers are very intelligent people with a very vivid imagination!!! thats is what causes us the problems. We create a movie in our head that we call the A movie the trick is to change your thoughts to a nicer relaxing movie called the B movie.
