After the cruise we would like to go straight to the airport and fly home. What would be the earliest flight we could book. I was thinking around noon. Would we be cutting it too close?

NOON should be fine....
As long as things go according to Schedule...

We have an 11:30 flight. I know we are pushing it, but last time we did not leave until 3:30 and with DS6, it almost became a nightmare. Of course now I know I could have booked a day room at the Hyatt which is what we will probably do next time. - Mike

You can use the room for the day (including pool etc). I think you need to check out of the room by 3:00 PM. Can someone else confirm the check-out time when you get one of the day rooms. If you have a child and get to the airport by 9 or 10:00 AM, that leaves a lot of time to amuse the little ones until your late afternoon flight. - Mike

I've booked one as early as 11:30, but I use Happy Limo so I know I don't have to depend on the buses and will be able to leave as soon as I disembark. I made it with plenty of time to spare, but I wouldn't go much earlier than that. The ship can be delayed or there can be something else to delay your disembarkation (we once had our luggage mistakenly taken by somene else).

Barb. at what time do you disembark to make sure to make it over to MCO for an 11:30 flight?
We are using Fl Tours for an 11:35 flight.
Thank You

We usually skip breakfast so we can sleep in a little and disembark around 7:45. If there is no line, that means you should have your luggage and be through Customs and at the towncar by 8. If you really want to ensure a smooth trip, keep your luggage rather than putting it out the night before and you'll save the time of looking for it.
Figure an hour to the airport (really, it will be more like 45 mins.), which means you will be there a little after 9 a.m. Even if it takes you an hour to check in and get through Security, which is unlikely, that would put you at the gate not much later than 10. That gives you half an hour leeway to still be at the gate an hour before your flight.

We just had a "day room" at the Hyatt last week when we got off the Wonder. We arrived at MCO at 8;45 am and checked into the Hyatt (day room) at 9:00 am. You can stay until 5:00 pm.

Our flight was 5;00 so we checked out of the Hyatt at 4;00. The price of the room is $60 and well worth it if you have a later flight.

We hung out at the pool, watched TV from our room, took showers, had luch at the food court, etc. We felt really rested before we got on the plane to go home.

We took a 3:00 flight - which was very late. The other flight was at 10:55. We arrived at the airport while it was boarding, but the security line was a half hour long.

But we had a problem at the port in that we lost some luggage - which caused a delay in getting to the airport. Disney says if your flight leaves before noon, you'll need to be off the boat by 8:00 - possible if nothng goes wrong and you have first breakfast - or grab a continental breakfast.

we are using your ride and they said they will have us to the airport by 9:30 if we get off the ship by 8am all of our disney cruises we have been off the ship befor 7:50am

The day room at the Hyatt was well worth the money we spent on it!

We arrived in plenty time to check out the shops in the airport. We decided to eat lunch early and then return to the room for some much needed sleep. We woke in time to shower before checking out of our room.

It was a great way to relax before actually reaching home.

When we got home, we were greated by other family members who had arrived to wish dd a happy birthday. We needed the sleep we had gotten earlier! Laundry waited until the next day.
