We had 2 beautiful scented candles confiscated on our return to Gatwick. Even though we had brought them in our hand-luggage all the way from Orlando with the blessing of the US security officers, we were told we couldn't take them onward to Belfast because 'European regulations are different'! However, had we been carrying some aerosol cans, a box of safety matches and a bottle of vodka then that would have been ok!
