Our flight was canceled, none going out all day, so we are arriving tomorrow at 3:35pm. I called yesterday to find out the balance on our room and he came up with a figure almost $300 more than my reservation sheet:scared1: He said they had us down for a woodsview and that is the price with AP discount. I said I have the paperwork right in front of me, I had switched from woods to standard when an AP room in that category became available. Well, he called guest services and they said we had been comped to a woodsview and the price would reflect when we arrived. Okay, not confident, but okay. Now we are arriving a day later and I called. They got it all taken care of and said we would still be in a woods view at the AP rate. Can I trust this verbal assurance or is this going to be another nightmare like last night with the airlines trying to book a new flight. Thanks:eek:

Hi... so sad about the mix up with the room. I hope it gets fixed up properly. I do know that last year when I called about being a day late due to cancelled flight, they said they'd take care of it. I had paid one night's deposit only. When I checked out, I looked at the sheet and they hadn't charged me for the night we weren't there. Hopefully they won't charge you for your room tonight.

Whenever I get verbal assurances from any company I note the date, time and name of the person who gave me the information. It has helped more than once.

If you have the price in writing, then they have to give you that price.
