My partner and I take way too many photos. We know we have a problem but can't find a 12 step program for it.

I've had a flickr account for about 6 years. I had every single photo I had taken in my previous relationship on there, including the newer ones from my current (and last hopefully) relationship. A week or so ago, my previous breakup started turning nasty. I'm a drama free sort of guy so this sort of thing bothers me to no end. In the midst of all the recent turmoil, I decided that I needed a fresh beginning. I couldn't look at all the 14K photo's that were on there with my Ex. It hurt too much. Then anger started setting in. I even ended my blog which I had for 6 years, which chronicled our relationship. It's like I want to let go of it all and not look back. Maybe I can look at those photo's again years down the road. Right now, it's like a sharp stick in the eye.

I've recently changed my screen name on flickr to DallasDisneyDork and removed all 14K photo's and started over. So far, including only last years Disneyland Trips.

We take way more photo's then necessary. Trying to get that perfect shot. These sets include those as well as the good, bad and the horribly ugly. We left nothing out. Yes, one trip there's 670 photo's.

Do any of you have flickr or picasa accounts with all of your Disney trip photo's that you would like to share? I love looking at ours probably on a weekly basis and really enjoy seeing others, especially from WDW since I've only been there once.

Here's the link to my flickr account. Although the program doesn't upload in order, the sets to the right are in order as we took them.

You've got some really gorgeous shots of Small World (at DL) at dusk. Very nice. :thumbsup2 The views of the bears aren't bad either. :rolleyes1

This is my Flickr page. There isn't too much in there since I deleted a bunch of images due to a potential employer looking at it. And since I no longer have a camera there isn't anything too recent (or decent) in there. Oh well.

Thanks! It was pretty mesmerizing when seeing it in person. Very beautiful, especially when they turn on the snow at night. I added you as a flickr friend. Time to go out and buy a new camera. :)

Cool. I added you as well. :thumbsup2 Speaking of "A Small World".......I actually know ****Cobb (I won't post his full screen name for privacy's sake), who is on your friends list. Not personally, but I've chatted with him and have followed his blog for a while now. I believe he used to be an Imagineer.

Unfortunately, I need to be able to afford insulin before I get a camera, which, at the moment I can't do. :sad2:

Having not gone to Disneyland, is there a reason for the picture with the small gold disc in the ground pictures? Or is it just a reason to take a picture of your fabulous shoes?

It's one of those kind of hidden things that you'll find out about through reading Disney Trivia books or a DL tour. The gold spike was put in the park before opening day to signify the original exact center of the park. Every time we're there, we take a pic of our shoes by the spike. People always come up and ask us what the heck we're doing, so we tell them the story that we know about it. It's totally unmarked, no placque or anything. Just a spike right when you walk through the castle, entering Fantasyland.

Cool. :-)

It's kind of odd I know. My partner and I took a picture of our bare feet in the black sand on Blacks Beach outside of San Diego. The pic turned out really cute. That started this trend of taking pictures of our feet with or without shoes, in certain recognizeable places.

No we don't have any sort of foot or shoe fetish. Just an odd tradition we started.

The tradition is neat. I guess mine is that I am fanatical about getting a pic with everyone on the trip in front of Cindy's Castle.

I am glad that you guys are wearing shoes though. I hate feet. But I love shoes.

Great pictures! We went to Disneyland in November to see the decorations for the first time and I got a few pictures of the castle and Small World at night but yours are amazing. We were traveling with 3 small kids so they don't allow us to stop to take as many pictures as we would like:sad2:

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! We tend to go overboard and I know my partner heaves a long sigh every time I tell him to hold up so I can snap a shot or 20. :)

I could imagine that with kids, you're constantly on the go. I could never take kids with us. I wouldn't pay attention to them enough and I'm sure they would end up lost. :rotfl: I can barely concentrate myself when I'm at the park, let alone someone else. :)

My dad goes overboard with pictures too so we're used to it. When our daughter was born we thought grandpa was just taking a ton of adorable pictures of the first granddaughter like he had of her 2 older brothers. Until one day we went over there and they were laughing hysterically at all the terrible pictures of her. She was born with huge beautiful blue eyes but it took awhile for her to grow into them so we have hundreds of terrible but funny pics of her! By the time she was about 4 months old she was adorable, but even my MIL thought we got pictures of an ugly baby off the net to send her as a joke when she was born:rotfl2:
