Okay, I am trying to talk DH into a trip for our anniversary in September. We are also going next May, so I thought it would be a good idea to just get an AP. Well, we can't really afford to pay that lump sum in September, so I thought about mentioning the Flexpay option.

How does it work? Are there credit checks involved, etc? What would we have to pay in September? Just the $17 or whatever monthly fee? With gas so expensive & driving from NC - we have to do it on the cheap.

When does my year start? When will I be charged?
Your annual pass will begin with the date of first use not the date of purchase.

Your credit card will be charged approximately the same day every month. For example, if the first payment is taken on the 10th of the month, all subsequent payments will be charged approximately on 10th of the month. Your renewal payment will be charged 2 days prior to your normal monthly bill date.

When I order my Universal Orlando® Preferred Annual Pass online using FLEXPAY, how will I receive it?
You can receive your tickets in one (1) of two (2) ways:

Electronic Pickup (Kiosk Pickup) - When you place an order online, the tickets can be available for pickup at one of the Electronic Ticketing Machines, or Kiosks, immediately after purchase after you have completed your order. The Electronic Ticketing Machines are located at the front gates of both Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure.

US Mail - When you place an order online, the tickets can be delivered to you via the US mail. The tickets will be mailed within 48 hours after you have completed your order, and delivery will take approximately two (2) weeks. (NOTE: If you need your tickets sooner than that, please do not choose this delivery option. Either order online or choose to receive your tickets via Electronic Pickup (Kiosk Pickup), or wait until you come to the park and visit any ticket window at either park to set up the flexible payment option).

What do I do if the credit card I use for Flex pay is lost or stolen, or I want to change the credit card used for payment? Or what do I do if the credit card I use for Flex pay is going to expire? Or I have received a notice in the mail that my passes are temporarily blocked.
Call us at 1-866-PASS-4-FUN and we can update your account with your new credit card information or to take a payment. You may also visit Guest Services at the park and update your credit card information in person.

Can I change the credit card information for only one pass on my contract?
No all passes on the same contract must be billed to the same credit card.

Can I change or postpone my bill date?
No, unfortunately payments can not be postponed. The bill date for your contract can not be changed.

Are there any finance charges for participation in the Flex Pay program?
Universal Orlando does not charge any finance charges, and the price of the Preferred Annual Pass is the same if you purchase it outright or participate in Universal's FLEXPAY program.

What happens at the end of my 12 month term?
Flexible Payment Annual Passes automatically renew at the end of the 12 month billing period. After the initial 12 month term, monthly payments are subject to change. You must submit written notification 30 days prior to the end of your contract in order to cancel the automatic renewal. If you do not, we will continue your membership by billing you on a month to month basis.

Can I cancel my Flex pay account before my one year membership ends?
No. The 12-month initial term of membership cannot be canceled. Member actions that result in cancellation prior to completion of initial membership agreement will require payment in full of each annual pass purchased.

What if I want to remove someone from my Flexpay Account? Can I transfer an annual pass to another person?
You will not be able to remove individuals from your account until your initial term of membership has been completed. Annual Passes are non-transferable.
