Flexibility getting outdoor seating?

My MIL is still very nervous about COVID, but has agreed to come on our vacation next month as long as we wear masks everywhere and don't eat indoors. I've always wanted to eat at Tutto Italia in the Italy Pavilion and I was able to get an ADR for our trip. Do we have the option of requesting an outdoor table when we arrive? If not, and decide we aren't able to eat there - will we get charged a cancellation or no-show fee?

You can request, and they will try to accommodate but I don' think they will guarantee it. I believe there are some outdoor tables at Tutto, but not many. You might also have to wait longer than you'd like, since you're cutting down the number of tables they could assign to your party. All you can do is say when you check in that you must sit outside. They could charge you for a no-show if you refuse to be seated and decide to leave, but they might not. According to policy, they do have the option to charge you. Unfortunately you won't know unless you ask.

I believe with some restaurants (no first-hand knowledge on Tutto) that if you check in using the MDE app, you can designate that you prefer an outdoor table, but that isn't a guarantee either.
