flexable flight dates really helped me save $

Im so excided and my husband is asleep so i have to tell someone . I have been watching flights for my october trip for a few months now and was like wow flights are expensive right now. Then I saw flights through sun country for 258 per person. I have to move my trip back two days but its worth it for the save dollors. most flights from mn are in the 300-500 range right now. Except for spirt but I have heard nothing but bad things about them.
-In case anyone else from mn reads this I did see some days were it was 100 each way so 200 round trip late oct and ealy nov I think.

I'm planning a trip to DL for my sons school break feb 2015. I wonder if I should start watching prices now??

I would, Im a excesive planner though. i have seen some summer dates cheaper really far out in advace that are now sold out or over 100 more per person. but these are summer dates so during the busy time. im not sure what will happen with the flights in feb for DL. What I did is research prices for flights from msp to mco then set my price range and airlines I wanted to fly and waited for the price to be in my budget. the price may go down but im happy with what I got. I only spent mabey 5 mins a day hoppin on orbitz and sometime other sites to check the price.
