Fleas at All Star Sports ?

I have been scared a bit now for about two weeks about this all.My brothers friend and his wife just came home from a cruise and both got head lice. I can live with fleas bites..but I dont want to come home from Disney with head lice.

I might be over reacting...but I plan on bringing our own pilliow and blankets. Our worst fear is lice and then flee bites. I would "KILL" if I found out that we had lice, cause both my girls have hair past their butt's and mine is about the middle of my back. That would suck trying to use a fine lice comb to go through it.
I wonder if I personally washed the sheets in hot water if it would kill Lice??
I'm not using the bedspread or the pillows, just the sheets. I think I might try it and at least I'll feel alittle safer.

We rented a home in Florida one year it it turned out to have sand fleas, the owners called a company to come in and they used some sort of salt.

It had to stay in the carpet for 24 hours and this dried up the eggs and killed the adult fleas.
