Flaw in new item?

No im not ranting, because that would be sad, the first day we get new stuff and people are complaining. Im just wondering though, the new curtain, was it supposed to open? Because who makes a curtain that cannot open. If its not supposed to, what good use does it have?

no like the spider web divider. the tiki walls, that sort of thing. the green walls are stackable so they a bit different.
