Charcoal tablets! or clorophil tabs work too. You can also try feeding your dog carrots. Our dog loves them and it keeps him from defiling the air as well.

Our vet told us to give our dog Beano. Haven't actually tried it because getting off the puppy food has really helped and his flatulence is no worse than my husbands. Also, with our dog we notice that the "loud ones" have no smell, it is the "silent but deadly ones" that will snap your head back. And he has a tendency to run into a room, let one loose and run out before you know what hit you. We call them "hit and runs". Our female dog never farts. She is 10 years old and we have only be around to "witness" 2 farts in her entire life. That's it - 2. Wonder if it is a boy dog thing?

I was gonna suggest the same thing. Those books are funny (there are 3). One of the moms brought them and read them to my kindergarten class last year. The kids were rolling.

Chloe rarely has gas, but when she lets out a squeeker, it's hilarious. She'll jerk around towards her tail in a circle like, "What the heck was that?????"

The other night we were all three in bed. She let out one that only a skunk would be proud of. At the exact same time, both DH and I yelled out. She slept through the whole thing.
