Flat Stitch Travels the Panama Canal - 8/17/08-9/1/08

I am part of a lucky family who will be bringing the Magic home soon!

We booked this cruise over 18 months ago and I can't believe it's finally here! My Earth family wanted to do a trip report and so I offered to help out.

These are my adventures! We have only 12 days to go until we board the ship. The suitcases are being packed (I have to make sure I stow away before the final zipper is shut!) Everyone is really excited. Although my Earth family has been on a few Disney cruises - this is their longest cruise with Disney.

I will post what is happening and with pictures as often as possible. Starting next week, I will be meeting some of my new friends!

It looks as though I will be joined by lots of fun people!

A little about myself and my Earth family... I belong to a young lady in the family who allows me to stay with her every night while she recharges. I am lucky enough that she has chosen me out of all of her fluffed friends to travel with her for the next several weeks.

I am looking forward to visiting some of my Disney friends both on the ship and on the land. I am hoping to get a picture or two with a princess

The rest of my Earth family is made up of a Dad and a Mom and some furr-friends who will be left behind at some type of animal hotel for the duration of our adventures.

My Earth family has been planning this trip since the original booking date and are looking forward to getting away from it all! (Whatever "all" is) and I am looking forward to sitting by the Mickey Pool with a nice cool beverage and a good book. I hope they show my movie on the big screen.

I will be staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel next week before leaving for the cruise.

Thought I would check in as we are counting down the final days until the trip!

Tomorrow I will be meeting some of my fellow human pirates for dinner at the DL Resort!

The final suitcase will be packed tonight and then we are ready to go.
