flat screen tv: audiovox or magnavox?

Is one brand known to be much better than the other? I'm looking at the 15" LCD for my bedroom, but I don't want to spend a fortune on it. These are the 2 I've come across that seem reasonable and the prices are the same. I just don't know which one to pick!
Any recommendations?

First, let me start off by saying I'm no expert. That said, I would buy a Sony. Why? because I've purchased other brands and they never seem to last as long as either of my 2 Sony's. Talking to other people they seem to have similar problems with their non-Sony televisions. One of my Sony televisions is 26 years old and still has a good picture and great sound. We replaced that with a different brand about 10 years ago and have had continual problems with the volume randomly going up or down. We finally replaced that with a Sony flat screen television about 2 years ago and we are in love again. Great picture, excellent sound, and loads of new features.

Don't know either, but I do know from what I have seen that there is a wide variance in picture quality in those sets, and money talks.

Have you looked at Philips? Perhaps I'm biased because I work for a division of Philips. Seriously, I think you need to get yourself to the nearest electronics superstore and compare them side by side.
