I used to use flat irons. Several years ago, however, I switched to a set of King Cobra II cavity back irons. They allow me to hit the ball longer and are much more forgiving than my old clubs.

I own a maxiglide, bought off HSN years ago. It has decent reviews. I have been very happy with, bought it before I found makeupalley.

what is your price range?
My daughter has the InStyler (as seen on TV) and she loves it. It is pricey though. I think about $100. I would NEVER spend the money, but being an only grandchild, my mother bought it for her, even after I told her I thought that was an insane amount of money. But since it was DD's birthday, grandma didn't see my point.![]()
I agree with this. My hair is extremely thick and naturally wavy. It used to take me forever to straighten my hair, now I get it done so fast and my hair has never looked better. You don't have to buy them off TV anymore either. I saw them at Bed Bath and Beyond for 99 dollars. I know it seems like alot but I will never use anything else again.
Wow...that's a really good feature. I'm just sayin'.But in the meantime I needed a flat iron. I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchased one of these. http://www.sallybeauty.com/flat-iron/ION111,default,pd.html?cgid=Hair09-06 .
I am very happy with this iron. Works just as good, actually better, than my Chi. I love the automatic shutoff feature, and that you can set the temperature to what you want. I have had it for a little over 3 years now and it has never let me down!
My hair too...add very frizzy. I'll have to check out BB&B. I always have tons of coupons for there. My hair is extremely thick and naturally wavy.
