Flat hair while at Disney

Everyone complains about frizzy hair while in FL. I have the exact opposite problem. I use Aveda volumizing tonic, style prep, and Phomollient. I wash my hair every day in the morning while I'm there and let it air dry, scrunch it to get the waves. Does anyone have suggestions?

Maybe try to use the in-room hair dryer at the roots with your head upside down? Add a touch of hairspray. My hair is slightly wavy and temperamental and sometimes this helps.

Maybe try washing it every other day and using dry shampoo on the days you don't wash it! I have fine hair but a mass amount of it, and if I wash it everyday, it looks a little flat. Dry shampoo makes a world of a difference!

Don't use so much product.

Exactly. I use a bit of brilliant damage control and phomollient, then blow-dry my hair upside-down. I have fine hair but there's a lot of it, and for me less is more.

When I'm on vacation, it just goes into a ponytail or side braid anyway.

I actually have very fine hair and those products you use don't even do it for me. I have found, though, that with the humidity, there's not much that can be done. Plus the water at some of resorts just makes my hair awful anyway.

Dry shampoo is your friend! I have thick hair that has a tendency to look flat on the top just because it's so heavy, and I've found the best thing for me is to wash it every other day (with conditioner only every other wash) and blow dry upside-down, and use dry shampoo on the in-between days.

I suggest that you wash it the night before, partially blow dry, and sleep in a top knot overnight. This should give you some nice volume to work with and if you need more lift at the roots work in some dry shampoo.

I don't have that problem... I have thick wavy frizzy hair, that I call my 'crazy hair' on those humid days!!!!
think Rosanna Rosannadana.. Hahahaha!!!

But, I do have to wonder if all of those products aren't ending up weighing your hair down and backfiring on you???

I just throw on a hat on. I look awful in hats, but its the less of two evils. I would rather look bad in a hat than with flat hair.

I have lots of fine hair. In my every day life, if I don't put products in my hair, it's flat and lifeless. Those products give it waves to slight curls and lots of volume. At Disney, it's just flat waves. I guess I can try texturizing dry shampoo and hair spray.

What's your hair length? I know a lot of suggestions hair recommend pony tail or putting hair up in a bun. My hair is pretty short, so not an option for me.

I have flat hair too. The only stuff that does anything are the products in the Big Sexy Hair line. Their shampoo and dry shampoo are musts for my Disney vacations.
