Was hoping anyone who has stayed at FWC could tell me whether or not flashlights are necessary for getting around the campgrounds. We are planning on attending the sing-along campfire and movie one night during our stay at the cabins. I have ds3 and dd2 in tow and am worried about keeping them in my sight. How dark does it get? Do they have street lights or anything?

thanks,
Terri

The campground is lit pretty well. We usually carry a small flashlight if we are walking around the loops in the evening. You might want to take one small one with you. But dont think you will really need it.

We stayed in the cabins last year (in the middle of a loop). It can be pretty dark walking back from the bus stop if you have a cabin that isn't very close to the stop. The cabins have lights on them but I don't remember the street being very well lit. Flashlights probably would be a good idea esp. with little ones.

We will be staying at FW 4/23 - 5/2 and I just picked up two small flashlights for my 2 boys...the look like little lanterns, I got them at Walmart. I know they will enjoy lighting the way back to our cabin from the bus stop!:p
