Flamingo Waterpark

I found a deal on Living Social for $60 a night for this room. WE will be in Orlando for 7 days. Is this a place worth staying or is there someplace better to stay? Any reviews on Flamingo Waterpark. We are renting a car so we can drive around, so that won't be an issue.

Got a lot of bad reveiws on tripadvisor also look under Clarion Resort & Waterpark on tripadvisor.

Our girl scout troop is staying there next weekend. I didn't book the room but am a little concerned about the reviews I just read. There were some good reviews but the bad, were really bad.

I dont know anything about the place but more people will go to every site than can if they have a complaint. But when there happy they dont usually go out of there way to write a review.

You will be driving from the East side of Kissimmee so it is about 20 miles to Disney. I could take between 45-60 minutes to get through town in the morning because of tourists in closer hotels driving to the parks,too; but mostly because of morning drive time traffic getting to work
East side is kind of Iffy.
The pictures look cool and the waterpark looks fun but I would check other places closer to Disney.
It is easy to find hotels in that price range using hotwire and they often can be Hiltons etc. A family member just got a really good deal here: https://www.diamondresorts.com/Mystic-Dunes-Resort-and-Golf-Club-Attractions. Haven't been there yet, but looks nice.

I would look for something closer to WDW and US if I was going to the parks. I would check travelzoo.com for hotels deals. They have some really good deals.

I looking for value for my buck. I would go with Drury Inn and Suites Orlando. They is number 1 on trip adviser.
