Just wanted to let folks know that we stayed at Home2Suites at Flamingo Crossings in room 430 and could see MK fireworks from the room. We were really surprised when the Halloween fireworks started going off and it was a nice way to end our night seeing them from our room. Hilton let's you pick your room out online check-in, so something to think about. Rooms along that wall, so like even rooms x02-x34 for like third to seventh floor, would probably have decent fireworks views. Also, the Home2Suites is a really nice just off resort property option. Large rooms, kitchenettes, free breakfast. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but other than that, it was a nice stay.

I just booked this hotel through wdw.com so I'm wondering if I will not be able to choose my room? Did you book though Hilton? Could you tell me what hot foods they had for breakfast? I can't find much info about that online.

You may be able to link your stay to your Hilton.com account. Also, you may be able to call the hotel and put in a room request if you can't link it.

For breakfast there were large and small Mickey waffles. There were also different egg sandwiches and like egg/hashbrown bowls. They rotate those, so they can be different daily. My husband had a southwestern egg bowl that he enjoyed. Beyond that, there were cold items, like cereal and fruit. There was also a place you could toast bagels or bread. It wasn't the biggest spread for breakfast, but it worked. It was very busy. If you can't find seating inside, try outside. There's an area outside right off the lobby that was pretty empty.

Thank you for all the information. I will try to link our stay.
