We are try Flametree for the first time in two weeks. Kids won't eat coleslaw or beans. Can we substitute fries for those items? We are using the dining plan. I am prepared to pay OOP for the fries if need.

Last time we were there, they would not let us substitute the sides for fries. We bought a basket and shared them...

I waited holy forever in line at Flame Tree last fall and distinctly remember the CM telling customers that fries were not covered on the dining plan and had to be purchased separately so I don't think a substitution would be allowed.

Thanks everyone! I was prepared to pay OOP and it looks like that is what we will do.

:):)

No substitutions if I remember correctly.

The onion rings are very good here too!

At Flame Tree you will have to pay OOP for the fries.

At pretty much any of the CS or TS restaurants, sides can be substituted if it is a side for one of the other entrees. If it only appears as a side at the bottom of the menu with a separate price point, such as the fries at the Flame Tree, it cannot be subbed.

just got back ate there last week. you can get double beans or slaw but we paid OOP for a basket of fries.
