I don't think that anyone was flaming the OP on that other thread. The conversation got kind of creepy and argumentative but I didn't see that any of that was aimed at her.

I haven't disappeared, I've been driving back from Devon to London today and it takes several hours.

I actually wanted to say THANKS for your responses. I was expecting a harsh...well...flaming!

But even the 'flamiest' responses were pretty honest and OK.

So do I get a second chance to prove I'm not a drama queen? Simply a rookie at this who message board thing....I've certainly learned a few lessons from all this...

If I get my second chance at a first impression, hopefully I'll turn out not to be quite so 'Dwhittle (whatever that is) as you thought...just a pretty normal (??) disney fan like everyone else....

OK, this is where I REALLY take exception. I've worked long and hard, for many years, to be anything BUT normal. Normal is boring. Now I'm not abnormally strange or anything like that, just a bit silly and I hope that I never totally grow up.

Hey, here people get second, third and umpteen chances from what I've seen. (Well, most do.) Just go with the flow and wear flame retardant clothing and you should be OK.

Abby normal when at my age I think about Disney so much. I buy Disney items for my DDs for special occasions, buy each movie the moment they come out, or run to the theatre to see it right away, can't wait until we can afford to go back to WDW Spring 2007. Daydream about the trip constantly. Yep, that's me Abby.

Also I should add that I think I may have misunderstood the term 'flame' (message board rookie remember....).

Having read what my 'religion' thread has decended into (thankfully not aimed at me!) I now know the real meaning of flaming! Thank goodness I've yet to be on the receiving end of that!

Well I hope you know a Toyota would be the best thing LOL. Heck we may have one for you..we may even be trading in our new one soon, for a bigger car! I love what I have, and it's the same as what I had, but I think we are ready for bigger..hang the cost of gasoline! I got it for way less than Edmunds says is the cheapest you could expect to pay in our area..even cheaper than we found the 2005's! (or maybe I should just pick one out for you, do the dealing, and let you know what you bought)!

Ive posted plenty of times on these boards, and several other boards. When youre not face to face with someone, people tend to have really big "kahunas" and also stick with the pack...like wolves.

It stinks - you *know* someone out there has the same opinion as you, but wont say anything cuz they'll get ripped on, next.

So, I'm unmarried, "stole" pictures via right click off the WDW site, do my hair every single day and never pull it in a ponytail, Ive even spanked my kids *gasp!* ...and I'm proud!
