This is the only reason, I won't go back. The food we ordered was very good, but the birds were horrible. Not so much the ducks as the other birds. Plus the fact that I am scared to death of birds.. Some were just downright aggressive. Ugh! It wasn't an enjoyable meal for us. But like I said, the food was good.

I agree... its a definate turn off.. I always try to go sit by the water.. they dont seem to be as bad there. Last time we ate there the people next to us started feeding them despite the warning card we got on our trays. We had to get up and move... and on my way out I handed the dad my warning card... duh... there is a reason why they ask you not to feed the birds. Its not on our list this trip since we are trying Yak and Yeti for the first time but I think its super yummy for a CS...

These are our MUST EAT AT places at each park during each of our vists:

1. Casey's at MK
2. Le Cellier at Epcot
3. Sci Fi Drive Inn at DHS
4. Flame Tree BBQ @ AK

In 5 days I will be there to feast yet again.....

I love the bbq chicken salad at Flame Tree. I'm afraid of birds as well, but they didn't bother me at all. Flame Tree smells soo good too.

We have eaten there twice. It has been very, very good. Birds are annoying, but the food is good.

Love Flame Tree! Venture down to get a seat overlooking the water and Everest.

First time we ate there by the water a boat holding a touristy-looking Mickey and Goofy sailed up towards us - Mickey and Goofy started waving and taking pics of us. Awesome.

We were fine when we just ignored the birds (ducks?), but their evidence is all around...

Flame Tree is yummers. There was a thread on here a while back asking for AK lunch suggestions and the near unanimous answer was Flame Tree. The food is consistently very good. The meat is good, but the sauce...oh the sauce!...It's a mildly spicy Memphis style BBQ sauce that I love.
