We like it and usually eat there once every trip.

We like it and that's where we always do lunch at AK-we generally only spend 1/2 day at AK... I'd like to try Tusker House at some point, but DH is a Flame Tree fan and won't eat anywhere else :rotfl:

I thought it was just ok. The size of servings for the sides was very small. It was more like just a taste of beans. The sandwiches were big enough, but they sure were frugal with the beans.
I much prefer Tusker House. We feel it is one of the best counter service meals we get at WDW and a great value. You can also get real vegetables there.

That pulled-pork sandwich is way yummy! And the seating is beautiful, you really feel you're in the tropics! I know some folks would rather have air conditioning, but my family and I brave the heat.

One observation - DD thought the chili cheese fries were too spice when she ordered them one year. Don't know how others like those.

My family likes Flame Tree so much that they will not even miss a meal there to try Tusker House. I'll try to get them to again this upcoming trip, but mmmm BBQ it's not going to be easy.

It's good for WDW, and it's nice to have a CS place that does something other than burgers and chicken fingers, but as far as BBQ goes, it's just OK.

Do they have BBQ chicken sandwiches? Or just plain BBQ chicken?

Boy do we love Flame tree. Even the children and they are not usually big bar-b-que eaters. We eat there every trip, and since the kids have picked AK twice to visit this time, guess what!!!!

Love it! I think I may like Tusker House better, but maybe just a hair!

Its really good food and lots of it! Also, I love walking down the path behind the restaurant all the way down. There are some really neat places to eat and take it all in.

We ate there for the first time on our last trip, and it was good. It was hard to find a table, though!

I Like it because
1 Location-Not every restaurant has somewhere you can eat while over looking the water (if you can get a table) :)
2 Food-They have good food. The portions are small but the chicken is very good.
3 Easy-They usually aren't very busy.
