Flame Tree BBQ?

Ok. I've been planning my itinerary for our November trip and have included the Flame Tree BBQ at AK. But, I remember reading somewhere that it was open seasonally. Can anyone remember or does anyone know if it was closed in November of last year? We were in the AK at that time last year but I can't remember if it was open.

I can confirm that. We were at WDW last year, Nov. 1 - 11. Flame Tree was closed.

Guess I'll have to find somewhere else for lunch. We had Pizza this past July and it was pretty bad. We went to the Rainforest Cafe this past March and we would like to try something different. Back to the boards and the books!

Pizzafari has more than just pizza. They have a Deli sandwich that's not bad, it's not BBQ though. If you're an AP holder you get 20% off there.

Thanks, EpcotBill. I'd forgotten about the discount but that pizza really turned us off at Pizzafari. Mybe they'll feel sorry for me and open up the Flame Tree! Not!

Flame Tree was open last week, and it was the slowest I have ever seen the parks. Maybe you will get lucky.

Have you tried Tusker House at AK? We really enjoyed it, and they have some different selections.

I'm on one of those meal plans where I should be eating at the most expensive places each meal to maximize my value, but even I hope that Flame Tree BBQ is open during my visit. It is the best window service food I've ever had.

A wonderful alternative to Flame Tree is Tusker House. We normally eat at Flame Tree, but were there in August, and we desired air condition. The food at Tusker's was fantastic!
