I tried to search for this info with no luck. Can anyone tell me if Flame Tree meals (e.g 1/2 chicken) are considered an "entree" vs. do they offer a "combo meal" per the ddp? The sides listed do not appeal to me at all, so I am wondering about either subbing french fries or if the french fries get added in for a combo meal. We leave in 3 weeks and I'm trying to get a handle on what we can expect for Quick Service.
Thanks!

Hi! Welcome to the disboards!

To answer your question about Flame Tree, the fries are listed as a separate side order with a price point so they cannot be substituted for the sides on the chicken dish.

"Entree" or "combo" are interchangeable terms. It just means what is considered the main dish/sides on the plate for your meal.

In general, at both CS and TS restaurants sides can be substituted if they are offered as a side on another entree. If, as in the case of the fries at Flame Tree, it is listed separately as a side order and has a price point it does not quialify.

As with many things at Disney, you can always ask. A CM may spread a bit of pixie dust on your request, but be prepared to be turned down.

They didn't let us sub fries in October, so we purchased a basket... it was huge and all 3 of us had plenty of fries.

I suggest the Onion Rings if you are fan over the French Fries!
