Is there any seating inside or is it all outside? I really want to try Flame Tree on our next trip but I don't want to eat outside with all of those birds around

Eating outside didn't bother us, either. There are several nice areas- down by the river, near a fountain, mostly under some sort of covered area. The only time the birds bothered us was when my DS 6 started dropping food for the foul to eat. I had to stop him in courtesy to other park guests. You may have some children trying to be "bothered" by the birds. We really enjoyed our lunch at FTB. Hope it works out for you!
The majority of the birds there are ducks and Ibises (the white ones with long very slender legs). The ducks are really harmless and I would imagine you've seen enough of those around. The Ibises *look* like they could do you harm because of the long slender beaks. But they are even more harmless than the ducks. All of them will walk around your seats but that's what they do. Walk AROUND your seats. As long as you don't bother them, they are not going to bother you. They don't try and take food from your plate, they don't "beg". They are just there enjoying the day like you are.
And as always - do NOT feed the birds and do NOT let your children chase them around.
DH and I really enjoy wildlife so the begging birds didn't bother us.......BUT, contrary to the reassurance the other posters are trying to offer you, the birds, ducks in particular, DO beg for food and sometimes they even nibble at you while you're sitting there, hoping for a treat I suppose. LOL
I LIKE ducks but I could certainly see where this could freak a person out a bit.....it was so comical that DH took a picture of the duck AS it nipped at me. I said nibble earlier but it was really much more of a nip....
too many people still try to feed the birds there and this is why they get a little aggressive.
There are several other less bird inhabited locations that you COULD carry your Flame Tree food to, if need be. I'd try that right off the bat if I knew the birds might freak me out.
Good luck! Flame tree is one of the best counter service!!
We hated the outdoor seating. The Ducks were very aggressive. The food wasn't that great either. I guess it's food carts for us next time (since DS can't have dairy or egg)
More annoying than gross......and the way I figure it the birds were here first, we're eating in THEIR back yard. We love the nature we find at WDW, and yeah even when dining outside.
Glad they have outside eating places AND inside ones, something for everyone!!
