DD & I really enjoyed the chicken & ribs. DH thought they were so-so. The mousse was ok but DH really liked the key lime pie. I didn't try it since I don't like lime. The beans & coleslaw were fabulous. I have heard terrible things about the beans but DH & I loved them.

What happened to the corn muffin?....that was ds's favorite thing!!!! We had it last december....skipped Flame Tree BBQ back in August....now all the reports and pics are not showing the corn muffin. Do you know when it disappeared? BTW I have heard about people not liking the beans, as well, but we both like them.

looks good...those desserts look different than what we had last time we were there. Wish they still had those corn muffins...though I guess a lot of people just threw them away (like DH...I liked them, he never bothered with more than a bite.)

Great review! We've always enjoyed FT. A few years back my DM and I shared the BBQ chicken (good) as well as the Fruit Plate - seasonal sliced fruit plate served with honey yogurt $6.99 It was very good and between the 2 of us, with DD (then 8) helping we still couldn't finish all of it. It was a lot of fruit and very tasty.

BTW, www.allears.net still has the corn muffin on the menu (as of April 2010)

I have heard that the corn muffin is back. I do not even like corn meal but I loved that, cole slaw, not at all.

The fruit and yogurt plate is so good I even pay OP for that. On a hot day nothing tastes better and the view is good too.

Flame Tree is 1 QS. IMO, it is one of the best QS options.

That corn muffin seems to come and go over the past 2 years.

thanks for the pics and reviews, I've added it to my list of must do's at AK....does anyone have pics of the fruit platter??

I find it hard to find healthy options at WDW that dont involve deep fried or carbs ie bread. so the fruit platter is a definate YES!!!!
