Flame Tree Barbecue

It is AWESOME!! But the line begins to form as soon as it opens. Meals are large enough to share!

This was the first place we ate when we came back to WDW after not visiting for 8 years. We really enjoyed it. In the several visits following that first one, we have tried other dining options in AK. We liked Flame Tree better than the other CS we tried - Pizzafari. We will probably try the Yak & Yeti CS this upcoming trip. As for TS - we did Rainforest and Y&Y sit down, of which we preferred Y&Y. We didn't have entrees - instead we split 3 appetizers between the 2 of us. We LOVED the green bean appetizer!!! :goodvibes

My family loves this place. Each of us will get something different and share it, so everyone gets a taste of each yummy meal. The onion rings are my favorite.

One of my top 3 favorite CS locations at all of WDW.
Awesome chicken and ribs along with great views.

Yummy - really good chicken and cornbread. Loved the key lime pie too.
The only negative was sitting with the birds but even that wasn't too bad.

Our favorite CS in AK. Great ribs and pulled pork sandwich. The prices are reasonable.

Nice seating area by the water overlooking EE. Follow the long pathway behind the counter.

We ate there a few times and remember it as pretty good

I am going to be the opposing opinion here, but I hated it. The BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup. The ribs weren't as bad a most of it, but were a bit dry...too dry to eat without BBQ sauce. The chicken was very dry...completely inedible. We actually threw away our food and went elsewhere. All 7 people in my party felt the same way.

We could have just gone at a bad time and got old food, but the "BBQ sauce" was so horrid that I won't be going back. Shame because I love BBQ.

One of our favorite CS's in all of Disney. We look forward to it every trip.

That's too bad roselark...I think maybe it was just a fluke because we've eaten there many times and always want to go again. Hopefully you'll be brave enough to give it another try and will have a more enjoyable meal. :goodvibes

I didn't like it very much. I did enjoy the cornbread (muffin thingie) and the beans, which most people don't like all that much.
The salad I got the first time I went there was horrible--there was nothing on it, dressing wise, and there were only a few pieces of wet chicken--YUCK!

The second time we went, I got the ribs--and I didn't realize that you could ask for BBQ sauce, so it may be my fault. They were dry and I hated the rub they used on them.

I will not be going back--ever.

I absolutely loved it.. I'm a huge bbq person and I thought the chicken was so juicy and just fabulous. I'm not a big baked beans person so I gave those away to my boyfriend, but the corn muffin roll was delicious as well. I give it two thumbs up. haha :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
