Flame Tree and RoL?

Several weeks ago I started reading info about the upcoming RoL dining packages. Now I haven't been able to keep up with all the comments on the multiple threads, but I do recall reading something that there may be a possibility that Flame Tree will be included in the dining packages. Can anyone confirm or deny this or is it all still speculation?

I haven't seen that. Not sure how that'd work out. I assume it will be TS just like the F! Package, but who knows.

I'm so unclear about this new rol. Why do you need a fastpass for a nighttime show i thought it would be like attending a fireworks show. Also how can they have a nighttime show if the park closes at 6:00 and it's still light out?

I also read about Flametree being included in the package & was hoping that would be the case. The way it would work according to the article was you'd have a time frame when you could show up & they would scan your MB to show you booked the package & you got a pass to use when you show up for ROL. I don't remember who's article it was though & it could be all speculation so I guess we'll find out.

From what I understand, the whole point is that AK will no longer close at 6 pm. More like 9 - 11:30 pm. And the ROL show is more like F! than fireworks. There are riverside seats to watch it from, but the capacity is low - only like 5,000 total. Many other areas where you might stand and watch will either have a limited view or will be areas like bridges where for safety they can't let you just stand and block traffic. There will probably be 2-3 shows/night but given the low capacity, if crowds really do start staying at AK in the evening then FP may be the only way to get a seat.

They use QS restaurants in DL for the dinner packages. There's no reason not to do the same at AK.

To the OP: Based on postings and info for the last week it sure looks like RoL is currently in a state of unknown, even from one department to the next within the company. It sounds like one hand has no idea what the other is doing or what is happening. Best bet is stay tuned here and am sure a thread in all bold letters will appear when something actually moves forward.

I think the thing with RoL right now is that they announced 4/22. They will have a show 4/22.

Will they have a show 4/23? Maybe not! It's not contrary to the debut announcement is they debut, then don't schedule regular shows for two weeks.

You guys have mentioned the Hub. What is that exactly and can we get on? Also.. Is it showing up on MDIs app? Or do you think you have to call for ROL dining package or go to actual website? Oh yeah. The Hub is for cast members.

Like the idea of FTBBQ being a part of this. Would prefer to eat there vs any of the other places in AK. Basically paying around $10 more to get a seat for prime viewing

It is on the Internal (Employee) Hub, so it is real.

None of it is bookable as yet. When it is bookable, it will be on the web site.

Tusker House and Tiffins are also allegedly going to be offering packages.

LATE BREAKING NEWS . . .

1) I spoke with one of the trainers for the performers on one of the floats (aka, barges).
2) There are technical difficulties.
3) Several of the "Preview" dates for RoL have now been cancelled.
4) They ASSUME the issues will be worked out by April-22nd the announced opening day.
5) But, as of now, they are still struggling.
6) Stay tuned - Film at Eleven.
