Fla Seasonal Pass

Could you tell me what that is (park hopper vs. one park a day) and the price?

Thanks!
Its $127.50 and is a 3 day NON-Hopper Pass for Fl. Residents! ;) IF you want hopping ability's you must pay an extra $20.00 for it. ;) You can purchase it at WDW or AAA or The Disney Store! If you do not use all of the days, its good till Dec. I believe.

:confused3 Well, it's looking very unlikely guys. Here it is August 2nd. Would they bother to give us 2 weeks? *sigh*

This is news to me, originally it was a park hopper. Disney is trying everything they can for me not to go this summer. :(

a couple of years ago it was a Play-4 pass. four days for $99.00 with hopping. you had to use all four days within six months. now it's thirty dollars more, one less day, and no hopping.

we dropped our AP's to SP's except for one to get the free parking. we go about 20 times a year, and not during peak times, so it works out.

Eljay--looks like we'll dodge this one...keeping fingers crossed!

I was wondering if WDW would have any type of sympathy for Seasonal AP holders if a hurricane were to threaten or hit an area sending many seasonal AP holders to WDW (either evacuating or seeking refuge) during the blackout period. Ya think they might lift that blackout period (if not for free, maybe for a small fee, hmmm :confused3 ..not sure about that one... :rolleyes1

This just crossed my mind tonight since we did spend a week in WDW last October to seek refuge after Wilma hit and knocked out our power for 2 weeks. :confused3 They weren't all that cooperative about rescheduling our trip last August when Katrina was threatening to hit. I had to call back 3x to reschedule 2 days later than originally planned..all right getting off topic now, sorry...

Everytime I see this thread near the top of the page it gets my hopes up! :smooth:

Oh well...back to work.

Does anyone have an estimate on what it will cost to upgrade the seasonal pass to a FL Annual Pass? Was really hoping it would open up before the 5th, but I guess not.

I called to find out how much it would be to upgrade from the seasonal to the annual and....the guy didn't know. :confused3

So I figured asking him nicely to lift the blackout wouldn't do any good either! ;)

Hey looks like we are NOT getting the storm, so my trip is still on! :cool1: Now, that blackout thing...... :confused3 :wizard:

There seems to be some confusion when it comes to upgrading from Seasonal to regular AP. I was there on Memorial Day weekend and asked at Guest Services, thinking I might come back during the summer. See if this sounds right to you, I paid $197, if I remember correctly, to renew for my January 13, 2006 anniversary date. On May 30th, they told me that it would cost me $109 to upgrade. :confused3 What about my missing out on the Spring Break blackout dates? They didn't seem to prorate any of that. I left feeling like the CM wasn't too clear on the procedure, but, maybe I'm wrong?

I was hoping so hard because I will be there this weekend but oh well. I am just going to buy a one day pass and go to MK on Sun. No biggie.

I'm sorry to say they DON'T prorate if you want to upgrade. I learned this the hard way when I took Ds down to SW weekend on the FIRST DAY of the blackout season:guilty: . They wouldn't prorate and I wasn't going to pay full price to upgrade tickets that expire in September. So we missed Star Wars.

I have to brag on Ds though. He was really looking forward to SW as we have never been. When we found out I had screwed up, not paying attention to the blackout dates, he didn't say a word about it! He didn't even pout! He actually tried to make me feel better! We went to DTD and in the Xmas shop he laid his head on my shoulder and said it doesn't matter I'm just happy to be here with you. Did I mention he is TWELVE. Am I the luckiest mom in the world or what?!?
