I need roundtrip transportation from Orlando Int'l (MCO) to POP Century Resort. There will be two adults and two children (4 and 2 years old). We'll need 2 car seats. We intend on making a quick grocery stop. I am thinking of using a TownCar service no need for a limo. Which one should we choose and why?

FL Tours
Round Trip $105 - $5 (on line coupon) $100
includes carseats

Happy Limo
Round Trip $85
plus $5 per car seat
on line coupon -$5
Total: $90
(website said toll were extra?)

Quicksilver
Round Trip $94.90
includes carseats

They all seem to be priced about the same. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

We used murray hill transportation in June (transportation2disney.com). We only needed one carseat which was free--I believe it was $5 for an additional. Marie was very accomodating when at the last minute we switched to a much earlier flight. John met us at baggage claim with a sign with our name. Quickly retrieved the car and was very helpful and friendly. They also do a free grocery stop (which we didn't use) and take a picture outside of the disney gates if you would like them to. Their website says they will match any competitors rate and there is a $5 off coupon at the bottom of the page. Not one of the biggest companies, but they definitely try harder. Hope this helps!

We used Quicksilver in April and they were excellent. They greeted us at the airport, took care of our luggage and had a grocery stop at the local Publix. The car was nice and clean. Gregory, the owner was our driver and he was very personable. We had a great conversation with him. They were always on time for all of our land/sea transfers. I highly recommend this company and will definately use them again if we need a towncar service!!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I elected to make a reservation via their website with Quicksilver. I immediately received a call from Nick confirming my reservation and clarifying a few of my questions (car seat and grocery stop question). So far, I've been impressed. Here is how I selected them:

1) Best website

2) Competitive Price - $94.90 RT Town Car - MCO to POP Century.

3) Included 30 minute grocery stop

4) Included car seats

5) Good reviews on the discussion board.

I will review the service upon my return.

but gotta go with FLTours as a personal recommendation.

We missed our connecting flight to MCO last January.:(
Andy called DH's office to see if everything was ok:)
When we arrived at MCO, he had a car waiting for us:):)

Did our grocery stop at Albertson's - they "pick and packed" it so it was all ready:)

Personal service from FLTours - fantastic.
Cars are spotless, drivers are great.

HTH!!

We just got back from visiting Frances. We used Quicksilver and were very impressed. We were late arriving b/c of travel delays - no problem. Our driver had checked on our flight and met us downstairs with no hassle.

We were in a Cadillac sedan that was much cleaner than the one we had a couple of years ago with Happy Limo. The driver was excellent too. Sometimes I ride with people and am afraid for my life, but our driver (Carlo, I believe) was very professional.

Our original plan was to be picked up from AKL on Sunday. Then Frances happened. Long story short, we were at the GF and I got a flight out for Monday. I called Quicksilver. Again, no problems and no hassles. The changes were handled smoothly and we were off to the airport ahead of schedule.

I would definitely go with Quicksilver again and recommend them to anybody.

THanks for everyones feedback - the wife and I have finally booked out Towncar Service. Who did we use ? Quicksilver.

Heres hoping it lives up to its reputation - im sure it will !

Quicksilver is the best!! I just made reservations w/them for my December trip. We used them in May and they were awesome. My flight was delayed several times for a total of 3 hrs- I called Quicksilver and the person on the phone was very reassured us that it would be no problem and if the driver wasn't there to call him back. When we got to the luggage carosel there was the driver waiting!! He was courteous and the car looked brand new like no one had been in it before. It had a DVD player, too.

Quicksilver is the ONLY towncar company that I have NEVER heard one negative comment about. -Steph

has anyone tried southern elegance.........talk about nice and friendly, professional too and very nice cars that were great.... they did extras at no charge to us..........we were very very happy with them.........All the quiestions I had were answered via internet in minutes and he gave em a courtesy call to make sure there was anything else they could do before our arrival. Gave me the fax number to the grocery store so we could fax them what we wanted so it would be ready for us .........that way we did'nt have to shop in an unfamiliar store ............It was an excellet service..............we highly reccommend them

Just to let you all know. The $90 for Golden Limo is one way only. The total is $180. This does include tolls though.

I agree, FL TOURS is great. Last year I flew down to MCO the day after the blackout. My flight was one of the few that departed although late. Andy had no idea if I was on that flight or not, since there was no phone service. I arrived at 3am and FL TOURS was there for me. That's service.

I assume from reading all of these post's that Happy Limo isn't the way to go. I was getting info. from AllEARS & that site highly recommended Happy Limo.

Are all prices comparable for all of these car services?:wave2:

Just wondering if you could give me the website for this company, I can't seem to find it...

Using Happy stretch Limo in a couple of weeks-I'll let you know.

Their price all included was the best and I had read some great reviews and spoke to some wonderful customer service people (had to change dates and times etc a few times). Always quick to respond-no hassle or rudeness.

Used FLTours luxury van last spring-they were great as well but this time for some reason didn't responded to messages (I've since heard from Andy - he's wonderful) Their price for a stretch was about $30 more.

There are good and bad about all companies-just go with your gut feeling and hope for the best.

We used Happy Limo on our Aug 04 trip. Booked a stretch limo, great price. They explained up front that the gratuity was included in the quoted price.

Driver met us at baggage claim, with a big Happy Limo sign with our name on it. Helped collect our bags and bring them to the curb. Then went and got the car.

The limo was a surprise for the kids.

Very professionaly driver, very friendly.

Return trip, we got free upgrade to Excursion stretch limo. What a vehicle!

Different driver, but again very friendly and professional. Loaded bags into car (truck?) then unloaded them at the airport curbside check-in.

Great service, no funny business.

Thanks GoofyJoofy-just what I wanted to hear!! I'll let you know how it goes. BWI-CL here we come!
