I am so excited about this I just had to share with you guys. Anyone who is a Fl resident listen up.....

We went to WDW for 5 days in March, during that time they had the Fl resident play 4 days pass for $109.00, we bought that ticket, everything was great, had great time, started planning our next trip right after we came home. We are going back in October and I have been searching for room only codes, Fl resident codes, trying to make a budget you guys all know the drill. We decided to buy seasonal passes because this time we are going to be there for over a week and it was cheaper that way, and two days ago I recieved a letter in the mail from Disney. They will upgrade our play 4 days pass to the Fl resident seasonal for only $90/adult, and $60/child. This saves me about $400 on our passes!!!! I am so so so excited!!!!! I just had to share this so if anyone out there is a fl resident and used the play 4 days pass, you can upgrade to a fl resident seasonal pass for little of nothing. Hope this news is as great to someone else out there as it was to me.

Ps: Play 4 days passes are available until June 4th, so if you are short on the dough now, buy them and upgrade later, the only catch is that the seasonal passes are prorated from the original date of use. So our first day was 3/26, our pass expire on that day next year:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

YES!!!! We used all our days and lucky for me I like to save momentos, because if I would have thrown them away we would not be able to get the offer. You must still have your ticket even if you have already used the 4 days. HTH

That's great that they now allow you to do that through the mail. Two years ago you had to go to guest services before a certain date to upgrade. BUT, it sure is a nice deal because you don't have to pay that lump sum all at once!

Also keep in mind that there is usually an expiration date of when you can upgrade until.

You should check out the Disney Dining Experience card too if you eat at lot of sit down restaurants on property...another great deal! If you plan anymore trips over the next year that is also well worth getting!

You're right, it does expire but not until the middle of July, plenty of time to take care of it.

That is a great deal. But the only problem that I found with the Florida Resident Seasonal Passes were all the blackout dates. You can not use it mid June, July or August. I have a child in school and it would be nice to use the pass during the summer when she is out of school.
