Fl Residents and summer in WDW?

The difference between the Seasonal and Annual is $134.19 including tax. That is less than ten days worth of parking fees.

difference for one. no one goes alone. so it'd be $134.19 x 4 for us.

Right and if you stay on site then parking is not an issue, either.

If you are in driving distance to wdw then it is really easy to get your money's worth out if the seasonal with 3 day weekends. Also you can usually squeeze in a few days the first week of January when the schools are still out and the Christmas decorations still up.

We've always preferred shorter more frequent trips.

We always bought the seasonal passes. I would never go in the summer anyway....way too crowded...and way too hot!!! I prefer going on the weekends in the cooler months....avoiding peak times even though I have young children in school.

I lived in Orlando for 7 years before moving away last year. 30 minutes to Disney World. Never stayed onsite while living there (DH thought it waste of money when we could drive). I bought annual pass for me for parking and DH had seasonal. He upgraded if annual if he needed at that time. When certain family came to visit in summer and we decided to meet them in parks we would. But we never would go in summer unless we had visitors. Too hot!

summer is best time for us. We live here, it's hot in any case, all over florida. CAn't go too often with our kids the rest of the year due to school.

we have annual passes because of the free parking. since we are locals, we can pop over for day trips, and those parking fees can add up! we live close enough that we never stay on site. although we go lots more during off peak spring/autumn, sometimes the kids & I will go for a day or 2 in the summer while DH is working. although the crowds are big at that time, we're not trying to see & do everything; just a few of our favorites.

I have the Disney seasonal pass which has the blackout dates but I also have the Universal preferred pass and the Busch Gardens/Sea World platinum passes both of which have no blackout dates.I live in South Florida about 4 hours away and this works fine for me right now,if I lived closer I would probably get the full Disney annual pass along with a Disney waterpark annual pass.My trips that I have done or scheduled for this year are the second week of January for the marathon spending the entire trip at Disney, this past weekend I did a Busch Gardens/Sea World/Universal trip for Bands,Brew and BBQ at the Busch and Sea World parks and for Mardi Gras at Universal, although I did squeeze in a night at Epcot and DTD.The third week of April the plan is for a F&G at Epcot and a day at Universal for Mardi Gras.In the summer I'll do Universal and Sea World for their two new rides and a waterpark since my Disney seasonal pass might be in blackout,it's possible I might do a second summer trip but in reality I avoid the summer like the plague, probably will do another day at my closest waterpark instead of doing a second Orlando trip.In October I always do two trips for the F&W festival,Halloween Horror Nights at Universal and I also plan to do the ToT 10 mile race at Disney. In early December I'll do my Christmas trip doing all the major Holiday events at Disney,Universal and I can usually squeeze in a night at Sea World, then comes January and do it all again, the only period in the year where I'll only have 1 or 2 trips in a 4 month period is summer, the rest of the year I'm at the parks pretty frequently.

WE were childless at the beginning of living there, had both of the kids at Winnie Palmer. Now DD is 5 and DS is 2, so never had to worry about school while living there. But DH hates Hot, he likes snow and winter, I'm opposite I like warm, but I did miss the change of seasons.
