FL resident ticket discount question.

Yes, FL residents can buy out-of-state friends and family WDW tickets, anyone can purchase a WDW for whomever they would like. BUT FL Residents can not buy the WDW tickets that are discounted for FL residents and require proof of FL residency in order to use. Meaning that a FL resident can purchase a standard MYW ticket for a non-FL resident and that person can use it. A FL resident can NOT purchase a ticket that is offered specifically for FL resident like the 4-Day FL resident ticket. In order to use the FL resident discounted tickets one must provide proof of FL residency by the ticket user, not by the ticket buyer.

I have 2 questions about the FL resident questions as well. I hope the OP doesn't mind me asking here.

1) I know I will have to show my ID for the tickets but do my kids (ages 16 and 12 have to have an ID) we all live in FL.

2) When I go to a park with the above tickets, can we leave go back to the resort and rest and come back to the same park that day? Will they stamp our hand etc? I have always had APs, this is my first time with tickets.

Yes. All tickets allow leaving and reentering the same park on the same day. No handstamps, just have the ticket ready.

Correct. It will work just like your APs did. And you probably already know this, but unless you add the Park Hopper option, you cannot visit two different parks in one day.

If the kids are with you, they will not need IDs. If they are ever going to be on their own in the parks, or switching parks for a couple of hours (going to DHS to ride something while mom and dad stay at Epcot), then they will need ID.

Can a FL resident buy tickets for out-of-state family members?
You can buy Disney tickets for out-of-state family members at regular full price.

You cannot buy Florida-resident discount tickets for out-of-state family members. The person using the ticket needs to be a FL resident.

When you purchase FL resident discount tickets, you must show a valid Florida ID in order to activate the tickets. Each person must have their own Florida ID (except for kids) in order to use the tickets. You can't, for example, purchase a dozen Florida resident tickets and activate them all with just your Florida ID.
